On January 12th members of the local guard unit shipped out for Salt Lake City. These men will be doing their part by providing security at several Olympic sitesvenues. Details are sketchy as to exactly what these sol diers will be doing. But whatever they are tasked with, we're sure these gentlemen will make pur com munity proud. We would like to wish them the best of luck and look forward to their return on the 27th of February. It should also be noted that this is the first time since the Korean War that this unit has been mobilized. Good luck gentlemen! o difficult for Minutes of the Beaver City Council The Beaver City Council met in regular session on January 8, 2002 at 4:00 p.m. with the following members of. the Council present: Mayor Wade L. Bradshaw; Council Members: Les Williams, Mike Dalton, Ron Bird, Kari Draper & Shane Erickson. Also present Hal R. Lessing City Recorder and Steven Atkin City Manager. The City Council reviewed the Minutes of January 7, 2002 Special Council Meeting. After review Council Williams Member moved, Council Member Dalton 2nd, The Minutes of January 7, 2002 MINUTE APPROVAL: be approved as read and writ- ten. All voted in favor of the motion. CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE ASSIGNMENTS: Mayor Bradshaw reviewed the new committee assignments. A copy of the assignments are attached hereto. MAYOR PROTEMPORE: Williams Council Member moved, Council Member Bird 2nd, Council Member Dalton be as Mayor Pro appointed Tempore to act in the event of Mayor Bradshaw's absence. All voted in favor of the motion. DISCLOSURE STATEMENTS: Mayor Bradshaw presented notarized disclosure statement His attached hereto. BEAVER HOUSING AUTHORITY PROPERTY PURCHASE: It was the consensus of the Council that the following reimbursement be entered for record: City revenue from sale of three homes to Housing Authority; $14,919 to Water Impact Fees, $5,375 to Sewer Impact fees, $23,236 to Sewer Fund, $18,345 to Electric Fund, $66,127 to B&C Road. HOWARD BRADSHAW SEWER LINE EASEMENT: Bradshaw excused Mayor Himself from the meeting and Mayor Protem Dalton assumed the chair. A letter from Howard & Lavern Bradshaw regarding sewer line easement was read and reviewed by the City Council. A copy of the letter is attached hereto. After review Council Member Bird Council Member moved, Williams 2nd, Beaver City Council authorize Security Title to prepare an easement and agreement and the City is authorized to offer $1,200 and one future Sewer Impact fee for one future residential impact fee at the current value of $950 as the impact fee raises the $950 will remain constant and any increase over the $950 would existing Snow - be paid by the applicant.
