Raamall, who writes from Denvr that she is on her way home. She has been visiting in Florida. Mrs. H. E. Duffin of Aberdeen, Idaho, spent Saturday and Sunday Sun-day here at the home of a niece, Mrs. E. B. Garrett. Sunday, the Garretts and Mrs. Duffin visited visit-ed in Provo at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Wm. J. Snow. Mrs. Lettle Gudmundsen, in the company of her son, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Gudmundsen, Salt Lake City, spent Saturday and Sunday in Provo, where they visited with Mrs. Morris Davis, and in Payson, where they visited at the Le Grande Gudmundsen home. Callers at the E. B. Garrett home Monday, were H. E. Dus-sin Dus-sin of Abrdeen, Idaho, and Mr. and Mrs. Romerell (Lydia Duffin) Duf-fin) of Boston, Mass. They had returned from a tour of Utah parks, where Mr. Romerell has taken a number of colored photographs. He returned by plane to Boston, Tuesday. B. Garrett returned Friday evening after a two weeks visit in Delta, at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. T. Thornton. Her mother has been ill, but is now improving. Visitors last week at the Abraham Anderson home were two sisters of Mrs. Anderson Mrs. Flossie Gardner, of Detroit, De-troit, Michigan, and Mrs. Edna Taylor of Salt Lake City. Mrs. Gardner had just returned from a visit with her daughter, Ruth, who is attending Leland Standford University in Calif. In honor of her daughter, Mildred, who will marry soon, Mrs. Wm. L. Jones entertained at her home, last Wednesday. A shower of kitchen supplies was given the bride-to-be, and luncheon was served to twenty guests. Mrs. Albert Bone is attending the school lunch room directors given at the U. A. C. in Logan this week. Mrs. Matilda Philips returned Monday evening from Salt Lake City, where she has been visiting with the Dale Andersons. Ander-sons. The Andersons returned with her, spending a short time at the home of H. A. Anderson and other relatives here. Plans were made for the annual fall convention, and work for the coming season was outlined. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Allred, Ray Allred, and Mrs. Jennie Nostrom made a trip to Idaho Falls last week. They visited there with Mr. and Mrs. Nephi Otterson, former Lehi residents. Mr. and Mrs. John Hansen and his mother, Mrs. Peter Hansen returned Sunday after a four day trip to Wyoming and and Yellowstone Park. Mrs. Oral Hansen accompanied them, stopping at the home of a daughter Mrs. Cranney while the others went on to the park, returning home with tham. The Hansens report an enjoyable time there. Out of town visitors for the funeral of Mrs. Sarah Evans Taylor included; Jacob Evans, Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Earl Cook, Ogden; Mrs. Sophia Nelson, and daugrhter, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Taylor, and Mr. and Mrs. Ed. shelton, all of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Rilla Robinson, San Francisco, California; Mrs. Dale Berry, Cedar valley ; Mr. and Mrs. Ira Taylor, Spanish Fork; Mrs. Agnes Roland, Springville; Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Clif-ford Taylor Orem; Mr and Mrs. Ford Robrts, American Falls, Idaho.; Mr and Mrs. Morris Roberts, Cedar City. , Mrs. Victoria Stewart was hostess to a group of twenty-three, twenty-three, Monday aftrnoon at her home, the charming affair being given in honor of Mrs. S. I. Goodwin, who leaves soon for the coast. Goodwin, who is leaving soon for Calif., Mrs. Lettie Gudmundsen enter tained at her home Saturday afternoon. Guests were members memb-ers of the old Alpine Stake Board. Readings were given by Mrs. Eliza Buckwater, former President, and Mrs . Mary E. Abel, secrtary for twenty years. Both are of American Fork. Other former board, members, besides the hostess and guest of honor, were Mrs. Elvira Olpln, of Pleasant Grove and Mrs. Heber C. Webb, Lehi. These, with Mrs. Clifford E. Young and Mrs. Laura Dunkley, who were not present, are the remaining members of a board of eighteen. Invited guests were Mrs. Julia Brown and Mrs. William Thornton, Thorn-ton, of American Fork. Refreshments were served, and a happy afternoon was spent visiting together. Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Schow of Logan spent the week-end here, visiting with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. S. Lott and Mr. and Mrs. Randal Schow. , Dale Loveridge, son of Mr.and Mrs. Le Roy Loveridge, is visiting visit-ing in Burley, Idaho, with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs W. T. Loveridge. Mr. and Mrs. Reed Nostrom and Mrs. Dorothy Jones, of Salt Lake City, spent Sunday with relatives and friends here. Mr. and Mrs. Abraham Anderson Ander-son spent a plesant time at Lagoon, Saturday, with their entire family present. The families Joined in a picnic lunchon, swimming and recreation. Those present included, Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Anderson and family, of Salt Lake City, Mr. and Mrs. Stewart . Wilkerson (Gertrude Anderson) and family, fami-ly, of Los Angeles, Calif., Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Carr of Salt Lake City, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Trane, and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Walker and Mrs. Keith Eddington. The Wilkersons returned re-turned to California, Sunday, after a two weeks visit here. Bishop and Mrs. E. B. Garret spent Monday in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Meredith Mere-dith and son of Roosevelt, spent last week visiting with her par-rent, par-rent, Mr. and Mrs. Evan Jones, and other relatives here. Arlen Russon spent yie weekend week-end here with his parents. Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Russon, returning Sunday evening for church services ser-vices in th University of Utah. Mrs. Minnie Harris returned home Thursday after accompanying accomp-anying her sister, Mrs. Ella Thorley, to Kanab, Utah, where they, visited their brother, Joseph Chatterley and family. Clemrt Turner and family visited last week at the home of a sister, Mrs. Golden Gold-en Gee, in Salt Lake City . The Misses Donija Mae and Norma Jean Peck, "of Pendleton, Oregon, Ore-gon, stopped there and the group enjoyed dinner together. The girls, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur C. Peck, (Martha Whimpey) are touring Idaho, Utah and Wyoming with a Caravan of fifteen girls from the M. I. A., in Pendlton. Mrs. Mable St. Jeor is here visiting with her sister MrsJen-nie. MrsJen-nie. St. Jeor. She came to attend at-tend the fiftieth Wedding anniversary of her sister and husband Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Gill of Salt Lake City, but due to the accidental death of Mrs. Mary Littleford Gill, wife of Arthur B. Gill , son of Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Gill; the anniversary will not be held, Mrs. St. Jeor will return re-turn to her home in Modesto, California, Thursday. Mrs. M. S. Lott, Paul Trane and the Misses Rose Mary and Joan Phillips sepnt an enjoyable enjoy-able day in Salt Lake City, Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Powell returned re-turned Tuesday from a six-day vacation in Yellowstone Park. With them were Mr. and Mrs. Albert Van Wagoner and daughter, daugh-ter, Anna Loy, of Provo. They report an enjoyable trip, stopping stop-ping at Idaho Falls one night each way. Marion Smuln visited Saturday at the La Velle Smuin home in Magna. Thomas Gaines of Oregon, formerly of Lehi, visited with his friend, Don L. Peet, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd B. Adamson returned Sunday after an enjoyable enjoy-able vacation at Yellowstone Mrs. R. J. Mrs. Henry Chipman of America Am-erica Fork, was received into the hospital for mdical treatment Monday, August 26. Mrs . Annie Smith who has been confined to the hospital since March is reported to have walked the length of the floor last Tuesday. Her hip was fractured in a fall last Spring.
