Show Funerals GEORGE HACKFORD Funeral services for George Hackford, 6G, who died Tuesday, j July 12, at his home in Lapoint, (were conducted Friday at the Lapoint LDS ward chapel. Prayer at the home was given by Bishop Jeremiah Harrison. Musical selections included two numbers by the choir, and a duet by Rex and Cynthia Taylor. Speakers were Bishop Harrison, Parley Goodrich and Harvey Hullinger. The invocation was offered of-fered by Hayden Foster, the benediction ben-ediction by Lauren Ross. Burial was in the Tridell cemetery, ceme-tery, under the direction of the Dillman Funeral Home, with Orvill Swain dedicating the grave. Dewey, Mclvin, Elmer. Lawrence Law-rence and Oscar Hackford and Jens Christiansen were the pallbearers. pall-bearers. JOSEPH R. BYWATER MYTON (Special) Services were conducted Wednesday. July 20, at 1 p. m. in the Myton LDS ward chapel for Joseph R. By-water, By-water, 83, who died July 15. from injuries suffered in an automobile auto-mobile accident July 9. I He was born January 30, 1866 at Brigham City, a son of James . and Maria Bywatcr. lie received his education there and later engaged in business in Corrine, Utah, where he married Alice Bradford, Sept. 12, 1904. He came to the Uintah Basin in 1906 to homestead in the Mid-view Mid-view district. He lived on a ranch near Myton for several years. After retiring he moved to town. Surviving are his widow; three sons: Mylan, Rawlings, Wyo., Woodrow, Salt Lake City, and Lawrence, Myton; two daughters, daugh-ters, Mrs. Marie Payne, Provo, and Sarah Bywater, Myton; a brother. Alfred, Ogden; four sisters, Cora B. Hillam and Mrs. Louis Call, Brigham City, and Rose E. Valentine and Lillie Forsgrcn, Salt Lake City; and three grandchildren. CLIFTON LARIS Funeral services were held Thursday, July 21, at 2 p. m. in the Roosevelt stake tabernacle for Clifton Laris, 33, who was killed in a truck accident Sunday Sun-day afternoon. A son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Laris, he was born March 25. 1916 in Vernal. The family moved to Roosevelt when he was a child and he received his education edu-cation in the Roosevelt schools. He married LaRue Rawlings Allred, May 21, 1945. at Roosevelt. Roos-evelt. Surviving are his parents, his widow; a son and daughter, Clifton Clif-ton and Shiela; two stepchildren. Lorraine and Larry Allred, a sister, Mrs. Ellen Rawlings, and maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George Abplanalp. |
