Show Eldredge R. Shakespear TROPIC Eldredge R. Shakespear, Shake-spear, 86, of Tropic died Sept. 8, 1995 in Panguitch, Utah. He was born June 1, 1909 in Tropic to William John and Matilda Ann Stolworthy Shakespear. He married Dixie Hall, Oct. 8, 1946 in Blackfoot, Ida. The marriage was later solemnized on Feb. 6, 1948 in the St. George LDS Temple. He was a farmer and livestock-man. livestock-man. He was an active member of the LDS church where he served as a counselor in the Tropic Ward Bishopric, counselor in the Young Mens MIA, member of the Sunday School Superintcndcncy and a Cub Scout leader. His favorite hobby was being the water boss. He is survived by his wife, Dixie Shakespear, Tropic; five sons and four daughters and their spouses, Rett Shakespear and Danny DeVon and Vicki Shakespear Shake-spear all of Cedar City; Betty Lou and Romell Hepworth, Panguitch; Arvon and Nolan Button, Kanab; Chad R. and Joy Shakespear, Tropic; Eddie Lamond and Camille Shakespear, Escalante; Vard Hall and Nicki Shakespear, Auckland, New Zealand and Christy Ann and Jeff Gardner, New Castle; 32 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; one brother and two sisters, sis-ters, Obie and wife June Shakespear, Shake-spear, Tropic; Eulla and husband Leon Parkinson, Roy; and Aletta and husband George Dodds of Lancaster, Calif. He is preceded in death by his parents; eight brothers and sisters, Ellis, Preston, Alton, Vemal, Mont and Marvin Shakespear, Mildred Cannon, Golda Pitts and Ina Fair-child. Fair-child. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Sept. 12, 1995 in the Tropic LDS Ward Chapel with Bishop Lonnie Pollock officiating and prelude and postlude music provided by Crystal Mortenson. Shakespear gave the invocation, in-vocation, followed by a vocal selec- Thomas Wayne King BRYCE Graveside services were held Sunday afternoon, Sept. 10, 1995 for Thomas Wayne King, 55, who died Sept. 8, 1995 when struck by lightning at Bryce. He was born Jan. 12, 1939 at Los Angeles, Calif, to Thomas Wayne and Marguerite Eline King. He served in the U.S. Navy. He attended Los Angeles State College and the University of California at Los Angeles where he was awarded a bachelor of arts degTee. He had been a paint company executive and a partner in a roof contracting business in Los Angeles. He is survived by four nephews, one of whom, Steve Sanford, lived with him at Bryce, and three nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Janice ! ,' Eldredge R. Shakespear tion, "O My Father," by the Tropic Ward Choir, directed by Carol Pollock and accompanied by Luana Riddle. A tribute was given by Ed Shakespear with Ken Piatt singing a vocal solo, "How Great Thou Art," accompanied by Collette Mathews. Rett Shakespear spoke, followed by a vocal duet, "Daddy's Hand," by Scott Shakespear and Michelle Hal-laday, Hal-laday, accompanied by Vicki Shakespear. Shake-spear. Scott Barton spoke, followed fol-lowed by remarks by Bishop Lonnie Lon-nie Pollock. The Tropic Ward Choir sang "Abide With Me, 'Tis Eventide" with a benediction given by Franz Shakespear. Compassionate services were provided by the Tropic Ward Relief Society Sisters. Pallbearers were Chad Shakespear, Shake-spear, Romell Hepworth, Brent Hepworth, Jeff Gardner, Kenny Shakespear, Dane Shakespear, Dus-tin Dus-tin Shakespear and Cody Button. The grandsons were honorary pallbearers pall-bearers and granddaughters were flower girls. Interment was in the Tropic Cemetery with the dedication of the grave performed by Nolan Button under the direction of Neal S. Magleby & Sons Mortuary, Richfield. Sanford and Donna Turtle. Many friends and family members gathered for a final farewell fare-well as he was laid to rest at Widts-oe Widts-oe Cemetery in the peaceful mountain moun-tain setting he loved. "Tom" joined the Al Foster family 14 years ago when he left California, working along with them in the family business. For 12 years, he spent the winters away, but for the last two had remained through the year. He was considered a member of the family and will be particularly missed by the Foster grandchildren by whom he was cherished . He will be remembered by those who loved him for his gentle, kind and giving nature. He will be sorely missed. Lars Emery (Larry) Frandsen PANGUITCH Larry Frandsen, 83, Panguitch died Sept. 12, 1995 at home in his sleep. He was born November 8, 1911 in Elsinore, raised in Widtsoe and lived his adult life in Panguitch. He married Nina Smith in 1931; they had two children: Pat and Larry Junior. After her death, he married Emma Englestead Iverson; she had a daughter Adele. Larry and Emma raised the children until she died in 1956. Larry married Orva Hatch Lynn in 1957. She brought to the marriage mar-riage six children; Jon, Clifford, Anna Rae, Jacquie, Lucille and Kent (deceased). He is survived by his wife Orva; children: Adele and Lee Dickinson, Henderson, Nev.; Pat and Mack Oetting, Panguitch; Jon and Judy Hatch, Elsinore; Elsie Hatch, Panguitch; Larry and Jo Frandsen, Las Vegas, Nev.; Clifford and Susan Lynn, Las Vegas, Nev.; Anna Rae and Jim Manner, Almo, Nev.; Jacquie and Jon Hunt, Blanding, and Lucille and Stan Butts, both deceased; 35 grandchildren grandchil-dren and 43 great-grandchildren. Also by his two brothers, sister and sister-in-law: Joan and Donn Hilton, Las Vegas; Keith and Betty Frandsen; Lawrence and Margaret Frandsen, and Mrs. George (Allie) Frandsen, all of Panguitch. His brothers and sisters preceding him in death: Randolph Frandsen, Jean Power, Virginia Hertzler, George Frandsen, Ruby Smith, Pearl Ross, and Lloyd Frandsen. Our dear husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather was loved and he loved us. He will be missed and he will long be remembered by those who knew i ! - Larry Frandsen him as a kind, honest, and loving man. His life work was driving coal and lumber trucks and he retired from Kaibab Industries at the age of 72. Funeral services will be held on Friday, Sept. 15, 1995 at 1 p.m. in the Panguitch Second LDS Ward Chapel, 200 North 400 East, Panguitch, Utah. Friends may call at the ward chapel in Panguitch on Friday morning from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Panguitch Cemetery. Funeral directors direc-tors Neal S. Magleby & Sons Mortuary of Richfield, Utah. Mark C. Fallis Mark Clove Fallis, age 75, passed away Aug. 31, 1995 in West Valley City, Utah. He was born Oct. 10, 1919 in Hatch, Utah, son of Alonzo and Abigail Clove Fallis. He married Agnes Mae Traynor April 11, 1948 in Wendover, Nev. Mark was an active plumber until the age of 75. He was a veteran of World War II. He was kind and loving to his wife and always showed love to his children and grandchildren. Above all, he was a gentleman to all who knew him. He is survived by his wife, Mae, West Valley City; six sons and one daughter and their spouses, Darrell (Peggy) Hailstone, Scottsdale, Ariz.; Gary (Vickie) Hailstone, Bennion, Utah; Dixie (Wally) Home, West Valley City; Randy Fallis, Kearns, Utah; Rick (Sandy) Fallis, Salt Lake City, Utah; Lonnie (Janet) Fallis, West Valley City; Terry Fallis, West Valley City; 22 grandchildren 11 great-grandchildren; one brother and five sisters, Idonna Deuel, Hatch; Elaine (Francis) (Fran-cis) Simons, McCammon, Ida.; LaVerne Neal) Olson, Blackfoot, Ida.; Julia (Stan) Wise, West Point, Utah; Dorothy (Thayne) Imlay, Grantsville, Utah; and Arvel (Anita) Fallis, Fallon, Nev. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Brandon Mark Fallis in 1975. Funeral services were held Sept. 5, 1995 at the Hatch LDS Ward Chapel, with interment following at the Hatch Cemetery.
