Show Applications On Agenda For German Studies A University . academic program pro-gram in Kiel, Germany has been approved by the Board of. Regents, and applications will shortly be accepted for approximately approxi-mately 50 advanced students to travel to that city for a six-month six-month program beginning March 20, j DR. GRANT H. Calder, director direc-tor of the University's International Interna-tional Programs, has announced to students will be selected to Participate in the program on the basis of their competence in the German language and ability to profit from work at the German Ger-man University. The academic work will be carried on at Christian-Albrechts University. The students will study under selected members of the faculty at the German institution. insti-tution. FULL DISCUSSION ' of the new international program at Kiel will be held for interested students next Thursday at 3:30 p.m. in Room 312 of the University Uni-versity Union. Dr. Calder and Dr. David Miller will describe Christian-Albrechts U n i v ersity and the academic offerings there. The program is being designed for advanced work in German as well as course work in German Ger-man history, politics, and other liberal arts subjects. Cost of the six-month course has been set at approximately $1200. This will include transportation, trans-portation, board and room, tuition tui-tion and special tours within Germany. i |
