Show Lions, Ladies Will Elect Officers Tonight Melvin Duke and Howard Sanford San-ford are running for president of the Springville Lions club, the election el-ection meeting being scheduled this evening at 7:30 p.m. at Kapp's Melody Inn, announces President Marvin Warren. At the same time the Lady Lions will meet at Kcelcys to elect new officers, under direction of Mrs. Howard Sanford, president. Other nominees for officers of the Lions include: Earl Child and Earling Roylance for second vice president; Arvil Ence and Jack Curtis, third vice president; Russell Rus-sell Childs and Lawrence Lynn, tail twister; O. J. I 'cay and Orvillo Child, Dr. Norman Parker and Frank Taylor for directors. In charge of the meeting this evening will be members of the nominating committee including Chairman Otto Fry, Paul Haymond, Hay-mond, J. C. Nielson and Marvin Warren. President Warren also announces announ-ces delegates named to attend the convention in Provo the latter part of June including Otto Fry, J. C. Nielson, Eldon Palfreyman, Leo Cutler, Howard Sanford and Mr. Warren. Alternates are: Wilford Gottfredson, Melvin Duke, Earl Child, Ray Lofgran, Erling Roylance, Roy-lance, Jack Robertson. |
