The national agricultural convention last night lidteued to Senator Windom upon the sutject uf water transportation being necessary for cheap transit and the national importance of improving ihe Mississippi river The convention resolved that government ought to control the inter aUle commerce and that congress be acked to take some action in regard to it. INDIAN AFFAIRS.
