Thcte was a decided j decrease in the number of influenza cases 1 reported in the city today, as compared with " the reports yesterday. Trie total number was seventy, as compared to 1-3 : Friday. There were two deaths today Albeit Doxey and Thomas Utsnian. George Shorten, sanitary inspector for Ogden, reported tonight the city was in groat need of nurses. He said that the Red Cross and his office had received many calls for nurses from families where all the members were ill. He added that the volunteer nurses were practically worn out. Albert Doxey, 33 years of age, died at Dee hospital at r o'clock this morning of influenza with pneumonia complications. Mrs. Doxey died about five months ago. Mr. Doxey Is survived by six children, his mother, three brothers and five sisters. sis-ters. The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at :30 o'clock at the City cemetery. Thomas D. I'tsman. 6f years of ace. died at 1 o'clock this morning at tlie family home in Farr West, after five days' illness, from influenza. He is survived sur-vived by his wife and one child. This is the third death in " the family in two weeks. Charles Yandavatter. a stepson, and Scott ftsinan, a son, were the other two, who were claimed by tlie disease. Funeral services will he held in tlie City cemeteiv at 1 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. |
