Last evening the police were quite buys in visiting the several rendezvous of demi monde in the city, and serving warrants on them to appear at 2 o'clock this afternoon on charges of maintaining houses of ill fame or being inmates thereof. Some twenty-five were arrested in all, and the police court will be quite a lively place this afternoon.
