Locked within the layers of paint and stuck to ceiling tiles is the scent of the smoke once filling the air of Olympus Hills Bowling Lanes. And although the scent of the past may be vanishing, the sounds of enthusiastic bowlers crashing pins remains. Hidden in the south end of Olympus Hills Shopping Center is the bowling landmark. A faded blue marquee hangs above the glass door as a means of a meager advertisement. It is has been there since the 60s and continues to advertise one to of the best bowling deals in town, according to bowling veteran and mechanic Guy Tiompson.
