Bain has been a very active student at Westminster. He has held many positions including president of the Westminster Action Network, treasurer of the Westminster debate club, and the ASWC social science senator. When asked what motivates Bain to be an ASWC officer, he said, 1 am motivated in part because I find organizations like ASWC interesting and because it gives me a chance to be an active part of the community. He also said, 1 have not only found that working in the student government is a way to become involved with the school, but that it is also a great learning experience. Robertson Staff Writer Students gathered around the Svme Lounge in the Shaw Student Center on March 17 to listen to a womens panel discussion in celebration of Womens History Month. The ASWC and the Students for Choice club sponsored the event. Speakers in the panel discussion included Kerrie of Planned Parenthood of Utah (PPU); Galloway, CEO Alice Storm, development director at KUER National Public Radio and Carol Spackman-Mos- s, a Democratic representative in problem, they are half of the solution.
