A The choir will be performing traditional carols from different countries, said Curry. People who attend the Festival of Carols and al will be able to enjoy English, Polish, Spanish, Danish, French, Russian, Jewish, German, and American carols. inCurry made certain the concert will not on the terfere with other activities planned same day. This will give people plenty of time to attend the Christmas dance, said Curry. Cheney will be doing some solo music in some part of the concert, said Curray. During the same week in December, the choir will be performing in several other places off campus. On Wednesday, Dec. 3. the choir will perform in YValker Hall for the Womens Board Christmas Boutique at 1 1:00 a.m., said Curry. "They also will be singing at the Alta Club, Dickens Festival and in several churches in the city. The choir is getting ready for next semester. According to Curry, it is preparing music for two main functions in the spring. the choir will be attending the March Jackson Hole Choral Festival in Teton Village. The town is new Yellowstone Park, so we will 27-2- be able to do some skiing, too, said Curry. The other function will take place on campus on April 11, 1987. Every year there are two concerts on campus, one at Christmas and the other in the Spring, said Curry, According to Curry, everyone is invited to participate in the choir. Rehearsals are on Tuesday evenings from 7:30 to 9:30 in Nune-makPlace. I enjoy working with the choir. I am excited that it has grown for the last two years, said Curry. Curry is happy with the fact that Westminister is expanding the courses in music. She would like to see the college offer private applied courses H which students could receive credit for takirg private music lessons.
