Lewis A. & M. College from J)urango, Colo. The first period gave very little in the way of statistics. The contest was fought hard between the markers. Lewis the recovery, the ball was brought to the 15 on a number of first downs. A pass by Smart to Thibault brought the second tally. Kick for extra point failed. In the third period Ft. Lewis took to the air in an attempt to move down the field, but Larry Wegkamp came from the safety position to intercept a pass and race 47 yards for the Parsons third score. Pinos kick again was good for the extra point. In the last quarter the Parsons recovered another fumble, uncorked to Thibault and he gathered it m and raced 15 yards for the final T. D. Don Nelson plunged over for the extra point. There were a number of outstanding players on the line and in the backfield that rate special mention. Dick Bradly, Sam Guliano, Elmer Lampe, Dale Thibault were great on that forward wall all afternoon.
