This is not to be con- fused with Whos Who in America. Each year since 1934 a certain quota of students are chosen by the school itself and approved by the organization. Their names along with a biography submitted by them appear in the book, published under the name given. Two juniors, Ralph Lubeck and Lincoln 'Anderson, and two seniors. Virginia Klapakis and Walter Miller, were chosen by a faculty committee for their scholarship, leadership and cooperation in educational and extracurricular activities, general citizenship, and promise of future usefulness. However, scholarship is not the most important thing. The student is considered. Besides the honor of tlie appointment, the four will receive certificates stating this nomina-tioi- n and the book itself which will appear next summer. One of the aids of the organization is a student placmeent service which will give recommendations to any student whose name is on the honorary roster. This recommendation is as good as receiving the job applied for. and many applicants are very successful in obtaining positions in a large number of fields.
