Senators were brought up to date on upcoming campus events. Fall semester of 1991 was the first semester under the new student constitution and ASWC President Matt Beard said, After roughing it for a semester, several matters need consideration before Senate elections in March. Beard said he wants to establish job parameters for elected senators so they will know what is expected of them. He said a couple of those matters might possibly be mandatory Senate meeting attendance and deciding on whether the senate needs to meet at set times. Beard said he is also in the process of discussing whether a committee should be formed to decide election criteria and parliamentary procedures for conducting upcoming Senate elections. Gary Fitzer, dean of students, said the Carleson Conference Center is currently being remodeled. He said the school is attempting to cluster appropriate offices together ... to get more use out of the buildings.
