Stair said. The committee makes requests on an annual basis to the budget committee which reviews the requests and, depending on the budget, appropriates funds, according to Stair. H m j made available. For the long term they are exploring the possibility of adding terminals with modems for Arts and Sciences, Business, and Nursing, depending on what each school wants. But Stair said the addition of new computers all depends on the budget. Stair noted that they were very fortunate last year. At the request of the committee Westminster received a new Data General MV 8000 system. The new Data General replaces an outdated 15 year old Eclipse system. The Data General has one prime system for the administration and one for academics. The advisory council is a new idea. It was started last year bu,t they have already made progress.
