Show Jute 15, 1956 The Western Mineral Survey, Salt Lake, City, Utah Square Deal Has Ore On Angus No. Four Page 3 Gila Operations In Motion At Pumpkin Buttes In a progress report to stockholders of the Square Deal Mining and Milling Company, Ltd., it was disclosed recently that exploration work conducted by the Homestake Mining Company in- dicated the presence of a commercial ore body approximately 900 feet southeast of the Angus No. 4 claim. Square Deal geologists have recommended a drilling program to explore the Angus No. 4 and No. 5 claims for the possible extension of this known channel into Phoenix ground. Geologists have also recom- mended exploration work to the northeast of the above claims and west of the Lisbon fault. The Phoenix property is strategically located in the Big Indian District, which is the scene of several large uranium minThere is some ing operations. speculation that drilling of this area will disclose the presence of a commercial ore body on the Phoenix property. The company reports that there have been no significant new developments in the mining claims in the Coeur dAlene District, under the direction of the Golconda Lead Mines.
