The houses were really crowded with visitors including some very restless children. One child, a strong little boy with dark curly hair, couldn't stay away from a translucent room divider which separated Youll see them used here as sliding doors in the kitchen cabinets and weve used them very successfully as bathroom shower enclosures too. This panel you see here is manufactured by Kemlite Corp. in Joliet, 111., and that fabric effect makes it pretty popular. Another Interesting panel made by fusing what we call a honeycombed core between two sheets of reinforced polyester is made by Englander Co., Inc. in Baltimore. Its called Amorex and its a mighty dramatic-looking material too and tough!" I heard a bang and saw little Alex hopping around on one foot. And the translucent panel wasn't - even scuffed! Alexs mother caught him by the arm. You know," she said to me, Alex doesnt look strong, but Ive seen him break a full length mirror just by kicking it." Just then Mr. Wilkes, the builder who was showing us around the new house, came over to us. Shucks, Lady," he said, you don't have to worry about that panel. It's practically shatterproof. Its a combination of fiber glass and polyester resin that's what gives it such strength. That pretty pattern is permanently fused between layers of the material. They're weatherproof too they're used a lot outdoors for I .If fences, patio roofs, awnings and canopies. Could my husband install these panels?" Alexs mother asked. With ordinary carpentry tools," Mr. Wilkes said. Thats good enough for me," Alexs mother said. How To Make Your Garden Grow Are your flowers, shrubs and a-cr- vegetables just not growing the way you woud like them to? That black plastic mulch we mentioned in our last column will help you, the experts around here agree. This Kordimulch makes your garden grow faster, stronger and more beautiful. Roll out the Kordimulch right over the struggling plants. The lightweight film wont harm the new plants. Make a generous slit in the film so that it drops to the ground around each plant, and pull the plastic firmly around each stem so that the film completely covers the earth. That's all there is to it! Kordimulch also reduces watering as much as half which will be a real blessing when the hot, dry season comes. And It prevents any weeds from growing.
