Her dessert was a favorite of the family long before it was known as: Mrs. Utahs Chocolate Drop Cookies g 8 teaspoons butter 12 cup 1 cup sugar baking powder 2 eggs well beaten 12 teaspoon salt double-actin- squares (3 ounces) un 12 12 12 cup milk teaspoon vanilla cup chopped nuts melted Butter Cream Frosting cups sifted flour until Cream butter and sugar together light and fluffy. Add well beaten eggs and melted chocolate. Blend well. Sift dry ingredients together three times. Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk, beating well after each addition. Blend in vanilla. Stir in nuts. Drop by teaspoon onto cooky sheet and bake in slow oven (825F.) 10 to 12 minutes. Cool and frost. Makes 3 dozen cookies. To moke Butter Cream Frosting, melt 12 square unsweetened chocolate and 2 tablespoons butter. Add a dash of salt. Add 2 cups confectioners sugar alternately with 2 tablespoons cream, beating until of right consistency to spread. 2 LaVon P.
