The old ruling held, however, that minerals on all lands given to the railroad belong to the railroad unless the land was received by fraud. The AEC will let the contract through negotiation instead of bid to the ura-Diu- m e next operator. The Galigher firm, with headquarters in Salt Lake City, has operated the mill since 1949 when it was first opened. Opens Shop ld Sabre To Vote On Pinon Merge In April If the merger plan now in process between Sabre Uranium Corporation and Pinon Uranium goes hrough American Metal Co. Ltd. will build a new uranium processing mill near Grants, N.M. Stockholders of Sabre Uranium will hold a special meeting April 17 to decide on the merger. Both Santa Fe companies, the merger has been in process several weeks. Hugh M. Craigie, Sabre president, said the new company would be known as Sabre-Pinio- n Uranium Corp. Stockholders also will vote on a proposal to allow American Metal Co., Ltd. New York to manage the new firm until 1962. Sabre shareholders would receive one Sabre-Pino- n commqn share for every two shares of Sabre stock held.
