Show 4B THE GREEN SHEET Thursday, August 28, 1986 Stellajones Alldredge Marks 80th Birthday A family party will celebrate the 80th birthday anniversary of Stella Jones Alldredge of Magna. She was born in Murray on September 1, 1906 to Alfred Thomas and Sarah Jones, graduated from the LDS high school and lived in Hunter until she married Minor Merton Alldredge in 1926 with Judge Scott Daniels officiating. The couple settled down in Magna where Mr. Alldredge worked for Utah Copper. He retired after 43 years of service and passed away in LDS Temple, still enjoys going to church and to the temple, as well as being an officer in the Pleasant Green Camp of the Daughters of the Pioneers. 1980. Their first home was a house moved from Rag Town on the corner of 2800 South 8700 West. Later they moved to a new home in a subdivision called Merton Way, which was named after Mr. Alldredge by his brother who build the development. A wedding breakfast was hosted at the Lion House by the grooms parents, Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Ray Neilson. That evening a reception was given at the Old Meeting house. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Alice Schaelling and the late Paul Schaelling. She is a graduate of Taylorsville high and has attended Utah Technical college at Salt Lake. The groom is a Granger high graduate and attended the University of Utah, BYU and is currently attending Utah Technical College at Salt Lake. He filled an LDS mission to Ventura, California. Shelley Wright attended the bride of as maid of honor with Tammy Schaelling, Lisa Davis and Minda Kjar as bridesmaids. Flower girls were Paula Prince, Holly Schaerrer and Daniel Evans. She also worked as a judge of election for the Republican Party for a number Sher- years. In addition she was extremely active in her church, having been Primary president for several years, Mutual president for eight years and Relief Society president in the Pleasant Green 2nd ward. For ten years, she and her husband were workers in the Salt Lake Christensen performed the duties of the best men and ushers were Gary Neilson, Aaron Schaerrer, Travis Higham, Ted Neilson, Bryce Neilson and Chris Schaerrer.
