A study of the free enterprise system, incorporating economics, current events and how to start and operate a business encouraged the students to organize their own business, she explained. The class is working with the Junior Achievement program. Dave Fee is representing Junior Achievement in meeting weekly with the students as a consultant. The students conducted a market research project to find out what students would be interested in buying. They are involved in selling stock, making up budget and experience reports and developing advertising for their products, she explained. The pens, each containing a small clock, are popular items, as are the Post-i- t notes which adhere to any surface.
