Show 91 4B WEST VALLEY VIEW Thursday July 2, 1981 Ava Marlor Reaches 80th Milestone Ava Shelton Marlor of Magna was honored on the occasion of her 80th birthday at a family dinner hosted by her children on Sunday, June 28th. More than 100 family members gathered to enjoy the festivities and to wish her many more years of good health and happiness. She was born May 20, 1901, in Bonair, Tennessee. When she was five years old the Shelton family moved to Beaver, Utah, where she spent her childhood. Later she attended the old Murdock Academy. In 1918 Ava married Samuel Marlor of Magna, and together they raised six children. Her progeny includes Donald S. Marlor and Betty Lou (Mrs. Ellis) Jones of Magna; Patsy (Mrs. Burton) Arrington, Whittier, California; Marilyn (Mrs. Darrell) Chapman of Seattle, Washington; Dr. Russell Marlor, Springfield, Virginia and Gordon E.
