Kathy Streeper, who was in charge of a similar program in California, will take care of children age 3 through 5, from 9 to 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday and Thursday, while mothers shop, visit or spend time in their own pursuits, the pastor said. This is not just a baby sitting program, he stressed. Stories and creative activities are planned. The cost will be $1 for the first child in a family, and 50 cents for each additional child in the same family. Funds will go toward supplies and snacks.
