Show 3B Liston And Bertha Bray Mark Fiftieth Year The family of Liston Clealon and Bertha Butterfield Bray will honor them on the occasion of their 50th anniversary with a family dinner. Mr. and Mrs. Bray were married March 26, 1931 in Provo. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on June 2, 1948. Liston was born in Provo but spent most of his childhood in Bingham Canyon. Bertha was born in Bingham Canyon and spent her childhood in the Pleasant Grove area. After the Brays were married they set up housekeeping in the Bingham Canyon area, but after a time they decided to buy a house and so moved to Murray. The spot they chose was way out in the county (6200 South). In the 32 years the Brays occupied their home and raised their children they saw the wide open spaces of Murray become more the center of activities. As progress took over the area, Fashion Place Mall bought their home and they moved to their present home in Union. Liston and Bertha have been active in the LDS Church scouting and Primary programs. Liston is now retired after having worked for 49Vfe years at Kennecott Copper. He worked most of those years as a locomotive engineer and retired in 1972. Mr. and Mrs. Bray now enjoy spending their retirement years traveling together. Kaye is employed by the law firm of Giauque, Holbook, Bendinger and Gurmankin and has been a legal assistant for the past 16 years. Kaye is a resident of the Cottonwood area and is the mother of two children. Her contributions to NALS and SLLSA are many. She has served as history chairman, chairman of the continuing legal education committee, scholarship committee chairfor the man, banquet 1969 spring board meeting and Kaye was the moderator of NALS seminars in Indianapolis and New Orleans as well as chairman of SLLSAs Day in Court and scholarship committees. March 20 was the date chosen for the wedding ceremony uniting JoAnn Reed and Glen Sellers in marriage. The rites were performed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Following the ceremony the couple was honored at a wedding breakfast at the Rose Park Stake Center. That evening a reception was hosted by the brides parents at the S L. Jordan North stake center.
