Show Lymans Share Sixtieth Year As Husband And Wife The family of Mr. and Mrs. William A. Lyman, of Magna, will honor them at an open house to celebrate their sixtieth wedding anniver- sary. August Wedding For Miss Denney West Valley City, UT. West Valley View Thursday, August 21, 1980 r Q. 7B Brent Kennington took Leanne Denney for his bride in a double-rinceremony at the Jordan Ell reception center on August 2. A reception honored the couple immediately after the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rodger L. Denney of Granger and attended Granger high. g held many offices in the Primary and Relief Society. Mr. Lyman was born September 14, 1888 in Oakley, Idaho to James A. and Isadora Fairchild Lyman. He was a farmer and a miner before serving in World War I. After the war he held the office of postmaster in Wendover and was also the justice of the peace there. He worked for the Salt Lake post office for 22 years and retired from there. Westbrook Becomes Mrs. Bolinder Honeymooning in Park City and are the Homestead Ranch Mrs. Lyman in her twenties The open house will be held at the old Magna LI)S ward on 2941 South 9150 West from 3 to 6 p.m. on Saturday August 23. Mr. and Mrs. Lyman were married August 23, 1920 in Los Angeles. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Mrs. Lyman was born on December 27. 1905 in Zion City, Illinois. She has been active in church and community affairs all of her life and has W'illiam in 1920 Mr. Lyman has held many positions in the LDS church including of Sunday School superintendant Eldredge Ward. He also served two Stake Missions for the LDS Church. William is well known for his old time fiddle playing and was awarded a trophy in the National Old Time Fiddle contest. Mr. and Mrs. Lyman are parents of eight children, seven of whom are still living. They include Grace Gardener, Virginia Nosack, Lillian Tanner, Louise Heath, Richard, Milton, and Donald. They also have 39 grandchildren, 55 and 4 newlyweds Julie and Ken Bolinder. They were married August 1 at the home of the bride's parents Mr. and Mrs. Gerald J. Westbrook of Murray. Following the ceremony a pot luck dinner was also hosted by the Westbrooks. The bride is the former Julie Westbrook and is a graduate of Murray high. The groom is a graduate of South high and is the son of Mrs. Lania Skola of Salt Lake. Both Julie and Ken are students at Utah Technical College where they are members of the Deca Club and The Toastmasters. The brides sister Kathy Dennon was her matron of honor and the grooms brother Dave Bolinder was his best man. Attending the guest book was another sister of the bride, Karen Turpin. The couple plan to make their home in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Brent Kennington The groom attended Kearns high and is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Nielsen, of Granger. Chosen to attend the bride as her matron of honor was Teresa Maynard and bridesmaids were Debbie Kennington, Theresa Munger and Lorrie Whvtock. Flower girls were Marcy and Kimberly Nielsen and the ring bearer was J.J. Denney. Hostess at the guest book was Marla Denney. Best man for Brent was Bart Wright and ushers were Kevin Kennington and Billy and Mike Hoyt. Connie Denney and Joy Ann Rutherford attended the gift table. And Jan Hataway played the organ for the ceremony and reception. A bridal shower for Leanne was hosted by Theresa Munger.
