Show - THE Churches At Our Singers. MAGNA COMMUNITY CHURCH This third week of Advent is a time of workship and stewardship at Magna Community Church. Christmas season potlucks will be held at the church the next two Thursdays, Dec. 10 and 17. Both will be followed by praise and prayer from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Prayer groups meet Thursdays at 9:30 a.m. There will be a womens meeting at the church at 9:40 on Friday, Dec. 11. The women will work on preparations for the bazaar and eat lunch together. On Saturday, the fruits of their efforts will be viewed at the bazaar, open from 10 a. m. to 4 p.m. Gifts, cakes, pies and coffee will be available to buy and eat or take home. The puiblic is invited to the bazaar. Sunday, Dec. 13, is the third Sunday of Advent. Church school is at 9:30 a.m. and worship follows at 10:43. The speaker will be Elder George Merrill. On Monday, Dec. 14, there will be a cookie exchange social at the church. Participants should bring fruit and four dozen cookies at 9:30 a.m. On Christmas Sunday, Dec. 20, church school is at 9:30, followed by worship at 10:45, featuring Christmas music. The message will be Gods Best Gift. The Sunday school children will present a brief pageant, assisted by the Praise A Christmas coffee hour fellowship will be held after church at noon on Dec. 20. WESTVALE PRESBYTERIAN This Sunday, Dec. 13, Sunday school begins at 9:30 for classes from nursery to adult. Church begins at 11 a.m., featuring the Sunday school children's annual program.
