E Moss reported to the commission that no arrangement had yet been made to supply fire protection to seven commercial firms in three unincorporated areas near Layton since the Layton Fire Department cancelled an agreement to provide five services to those areas in February THE COUNTY had sent ';s r)i j let- ters to Hill Air For?e Base and Clearfield asking them to supply protection According to Commissioner Moss, County Attorney Milton J. Hess had advised the county that they were required to make every effort to provide protection to meet their legal responsibility Hill Field had written a letter to the commission, saying they could not supply the protection Commissioner Moss said he had met with Gayle Starks, Clearfield city mayor, two weeks ago to talk about Clearfield supplying the protection No agreement was reached. Commissioner Moss said munity. Mrs Middendorf recently had a baby girl and her mother was able to come to Layton to help with the other children and new baby This Thursday evening, a group of friends who all graduated from Davis High School the same year met and held a dinner party Eighteen to 20 people enjoyed a dinner at the Red Ox in Bountiful The high school friends meet every other month Once a year, they go out to dinner as a group Miss Kim Krosher is still undergoing treatment in the St Benedicts Hospital for a lung disorder Dan Riley of Layton and Dick Adams of Kaysville returned home Saturday from a business trip to Denver, Colo son-in-la- If before any action is taken, the entire matter will be studied carefully.
