The board had appointed Dr. Dennis Peterson, member of the advisory board to get input on whether there was a stigma attached to using the word mental health in the name of the building. Although Dr. Peterson's report was not available, the board decided on the name suggested originally by the staff. Mrs. Okawa felt that the name was too long.
