These farmers have agreed to practice soil and water conservation on 18,577 acres of land. Basic conservation plans have been completed by 134 land owners, position. . Water application was im proved on 1742 acres, with 310 acres of land leveled, two farm ponds built, 530 small .irrigation structures installed and nearly four miles of new ditch constructed.
