There must be a play room of sufficient size for the five little Youngs to enjoy unrestricted fun and play; there must be a nook for Dallas legal work, a spot for Blanche's sewing equipment that would confine the accompanying clutter and a kitchen attractive and large enough to please the entire family. The Youngs moved into their home at 780 East Center in Kaysville last summer and are enjoying to the fullest extent all the careful planning and hard work that has gone into it. Dallas did a great deal of the work himself and some of the careful detail that marks special closets and tuck-awa- y space belie the fact that he is an attorney. Drapes throughout the house have been expertly fashioned by Blanche. Her three little girls are the envy of their friends when they appear decked out for party or play time in clothes that Blanche has designed and made herself. They take great pride, too, in their mother! ability and love to say Mother made this. All her own clothes, including coats, too, are made by Blanche and right now aha ia teaching sewing in adult education classes in both Layton and Kaysville. Needless to say her classes are filled to capacity. The kitchen of her home is Blanches favorite spot It is there that Dallas will soon complete her sewing nook, with doors that will close off her work when she stops , for the day. It is there, too, that all the modem and beautiful equipment offered by manufacturers is doing its efficient work. The cabinets are all birch, with a built-i- n stove and oven of copper. It is Indeed a dream room whose reality could not be realized except in this modw em day. But no matter how sparkling new and modem is the kitchen, no one has yet devised an appliance that will plan meals and cook them. That work still falls on the homemaker. Here, too, Blanche ahinei.
