Show Bicycle Club Is Organized At Verdeland YERD ELAND PARK Mins Lorie Ann Low, Miss Melba Mech-and Mrs. Helen Neilson met with the Layton town board this week to- seek their cooperation in forming bicycle laws and ordinances to be applied and used in the bicycle club recently organized at Verdeland Park. The club was formed for the purpose of teaching all girls and boys the value and inv- and Eirtance of safety rules riding bikes and how to care for and enjoy their bikes. E. G. King, safety commissioner of Layton, said he thought it was a splendid movement ana promised to take the matter up with the town board at its, next Tegular meeting. Organization of the first bicycle club in Layton took place at the Verdeland Park community hall, "Wednesday, April 23, under the rection of Miss Rose Jones.
