Evan Taylor. Dr. Kesler died Friday at his home from a heart ailment. Of pioneer parentage, he was bom March 20, 1 Kt7, at Salt Lake Frederick and AbiCity, a son-o- f gail Snow Kesler. When a youth, the family re sided at Centerville, living on the upper, road and south of Deuel neck, where he tended sheep and cattle. Turning to farm life, he operated a ranch in Sevier county from is7 to is?7. Starting in lsiH, he attended the College of Dental Surgery in Chicago, 111., for two years. Then there followed a year of study at the University of Michigan, where he obtained his- D.D.S. degree in 1X97. Locating- in Salt Lake City, he practiced dentistry for three years. Returning to school in Woo, he again attended the University of Michigan for a year, then to Jefferson, Medical college at Philadelphia, Ia graduating' in Wo I with an M.D. degree, moved to Bountiful where he had since resided and practiced as a physician. Besides his career as a physician, Dr. - Kesler was elected thirteenth mayor of Bountiful in 102s for a two-yePrior to that he period had served on the city council for eight years, and was also a member of the Bountiful volunteer fire department with a record for always being there when needed. Surviving are his widow, one daughter, Mrs. Mildred K. Armstrong of Bountiful; two brothers, Murray Kesler of Salt lake City; Alfred Kesler of Parras. Mexico; one sister.
