Semi-Formal ....Gold and White decorations will ,adorn the room for thesemi-formal affair which will host The Wisemen from B.Y.U. as music-makers. Special entertainment and door prizes will be given. Crowning Highlight of the evening will be the crowning of Mr. and Miss Collegiate. Candidates are Mike Valentine, Sigma; Dave Vandihei, Excels; Jon Jensen, Phoenix; Kathy Leishman, Ann Neilson and Jean Burnett, Sharmea. Voting will take place at the door. Tickets are now on sale at ?2 and may be bought from Sharmeia members, at the Union Building, or at the door. Hayes, scholarship committee chairman. Miss Ogden, a freshman, is a nursing education major, and has a straight A scholastic record here at Weber. "The committee feels that Miss Ogden typifies the kind of student specified by the donor; namely, excellent academic ability and evidence of desire to continue edn-cation by working," Dr. Hayes said. Miss Ogden is presently attending Weber on a scholarship awarded by the National Postal Transport Association Auxiliary, Ogden branch. Final Elections For New Offices By Cathie Gardner Lambda Delta Sigma held final elections this week. The Union Culture Committee is presenting another fine art exhibit in the Union Building. 1 "Brazilian Printmakers", a Smithsonian traveling exhibit of contemporary prints.. 2 'Sculpture in Various Materials", a collection of photographs of sculptured works by members of the National Sculpture Society. Annual Ball Is Huge Success By Lloyd Kelly Excelsior's and O.T.'s annual Sweetheart Ball, held last Thursday, was the greatest single activity at Weber College 'this year. The elegance and social finess of this dance will be long remembered by those who attended. Party Lots Of Fun Our party with L.D. was trans-lormed into a funfilled old-fashion square dance party. Free Lessons Speaking of diving, T.K.'s swimming team has gene into training prior to the meet. Marclare is giving lessons to all those willing to stay underwater three minutes. Let's Tidy Up Perhaps, students, if we were to clean our tables in the UB after we eat, !the management could find time to prepare better food.
