Show 5. i ' CAROL JEAN VENDELL PHYLLIS ALLEN ELAINE MACARTHUR LA REE MAW BARBARA WALL FERN STODDARD Did You Know That ' There is a Martha Graham here in school. However, she claims not to be Miss Hush. There are two blind students attending Weber college. They are Maxine Wilkerson and Laurice Hopkins. There are 1,059 men at Weber college and only 380 girls. Twenty-five per cent, or 265 men, that are attending school here are married. Two per cent, or 8 girls, are married.Six women are "veteranesses" of the service, and are attending school on the G. I. Bill. Men veterans number 605. There is no such person as "Mr." Staff at W. C. Erwin Heap, a veteran, has five children. Among them are two sets of twins born 11 months apart. Helene Burke is majoring in Engineering at W. C. Here Are Personality Girls Men Define Ideal Girl (Cont. from Page 1, Col. 5) this girl. I have attempted to describe a girl here at Weber college that everyone knows. You guess who it as. JOHN KELLY: I've been asked to define the ideal girl. That poses an interesting question . . . ideal girl. I suppose it's the adjective which I am to discuss, for surely everyone knows what a girl is that life stretch . . er . . . stretch of life's highway which most men take for better or worse without heeding the sign, "Warning . . dangerous curves ahead!" Most of my students, if seeking a definition, would head for Webster. Since I must do all I can to distinguish myself from the student body, let me work by association. There is a company which manufactures Ideal toothpicks. By association, then we can assume that the ideal girl is light(headed?), wider at the ibottom than at the top, and picks (your pockets) clean. But don't misunderstand me ... I like toothpicks.THAYNE HARRIS: My ideal girl is happy to be alive (and I hope she is). You can tell she is happy to look at her or to talk with her. She is optimistic, always hoping for the best, but when an undesirable situation arises, she can cope with it. She has set a goal in life and has begun to do something about reaching it. She enjoys concerts, lectures, and fine literature as much as movies, recreation, and current magazines. She knows when to talk and when to keep quiet. And when she does talk, she knows exactly the right thing to say.
