These four young people sing songs from all over the world including African rounds, nonsense songs, prison and work songs, and lullabies. "The thing that we try to do is to take the old songs . . . and make them more appealing to modern audiences by bringing them up-to-date with modern musical settings and the beat of present day jazz," explained the banjo player for the group. This program scheduled on the Lecture Series admits students free with their activity cards. It will begin at N:l.". Gifted Pianist To Be Featured The Utah State Symphony will make its fifth appearance February 10, at K:ir p.m., in the Ogden High School Auditorium. Glenn Gould, piano soloist, is featured for this concert. He is said to have a dynamic personality and flamboyant manner which captivates his audiences. His emotional gestures do not detract from his absolute concentration of his performance. His habit of conducting himself when one hand happens to be free of the keyboard and other gestures of this nature are simply an extension of his intentions toward the music he is playing. The program for the evening will be Dance Rhythm by Riegger, Concerto No. 3 by Beethoven, Mr. Gould at the piano, and Symphony No. ") by Prokofiev.
