Santa Claus North Pole Dear Santa Claus I am not asking for anything for myself this Christmas but I am thinking of my family. I suppose you know Junior. Well, Junior is really a sight! You ought to see him ! His coat is threadbare and out at the elbows, and worst of all, he is still wearing his knee pants. He has grown so fast the last two years that really it looks indecent to let him go out any longer in his short trousers, especially because of the bulges in the seat, and the hairs on his legs. He has worn short pants several years longer than most boys of his age have. In fact, he is so embarrassed that he is ashamed to go out in company. Now his twin brother at Pocatello has been wearing long pants for two years. His other brother at Rexburg, a third his size, dropped the curtains two years ago. Another brother' Eastern Montana State, less than a third Juniors' size, has a brand new suit of long trousers. Two brothers at Albion and Caldwell, Idaho, less than a fourth Junior's size, are also rigged out. So you can imagine how Junior feels. I rally believe Junior deserves a new suit this Christmas because he has been a bood boy the past year. He works awfully hard; saves what he gets and spends far less than any of his relatives. So you can see that he would really take care of his new suit. Now, Olid Santa, we know you have lots of other boys and girls to bring presents to this Christmas, but they have all received handsome presents since Junior got anything. And so 1 am hoping that you can find space in your bag for a new suit and be sure it has long pants. Sincerely yours: ALDOUS. P. S. On second thought, make it four sizes larger than his present one because he is still growing.
