The four-evening program is under the direction of organization officers: Barbara Earls, general chairman; and Mrs. Clarisse Hall, dean of women. Objective of Charm Week, according to attractive Shirley Poulton, A. W. S. president, is to make Weber coeds charm conscious. Weber coeds charm conscious. "They have what it takes," she charmingly averred this morning. All they need is a tew suggestions about style and this business or being attractive in their own individual ways. Everybody has her own style, you know, hut she has to find out what it is. Tulks On Charm Listed events arc talks on charm, a style show modelled by local coeds, and a ball. Opening Charm Week Monday at seven-thirty p.m. in the Ladies' Lounge, Miss Shiela Astley will present a demonstration on "Charm In Cosmetics." Miss Ast-ley's talk will be supplemented by vocal solos by Margaret Tingey and a reading by Edyth Richards. Committee for this program is Margaret Feeny and Rosclla Lark-in.Mrs. Evelyn Nielson Woods will Tuesday at seven-thirty p.m. compare the poise and personality of the European woman with that of the American woman. Music will be furnished by the Musettes. Bernice MeEntire and Marie Stander are in charge of the Tuesday evening arrangements. Style Show Retail merchants' committee of the Ogden chamber of commerce and A.W.S. Wednesday at eight p.m. presents a spring fashion revue in the college auditorium. Latest spring styles in clothes appropriate for campus wear and suited to a coed's budget will be modelled by Weber girls. Outfits will come from Britten's, C. C. Anderson, Emporium, Inter-mountain Knitting Mills, J. C. Penney, Nadine, New York Shoppe, Fred M. Nye, L. R. Samuels,Taylor-Wright, Utah Tailoring Mills, and Wright's, Inc. Lottie Lund will comment on the styles, and Shirley Critchlow will present Betty Coed. Co-Eds Slate Spinster Spree Spinsters' Spree, the girls' leap year dance, to be presented on Thursday, February 29, in Weber college ballroom by the Associated Women Students, will be the climax feature of Oharm Week. Marian Mikkelson, general chair-of the dance, said today, "Nothing has been overlooked in order bo make this dance an uproarious success." The girls feel that even Uhough the dance comes on Thursday night, the fact that leap year comes but once every four years should make up for a few hours of lost sleep. Chanodo Appears At Skating Party Tuesday evening the members of Chanodo entertained a group of "rushees at a skating party at tbe Berthana Skating Rink. After a delightful evening of skating, the girls sojourned to the home of Athalcne Cordon where a delight ful buffet supper was served. The following rushees were present Jeanne Wallwork, Loyal Christen son, Marion Butler, Jessie May Fish, Rosemary Pickens, liithel Barker, Dorothy Lichfield, Charlene Smith, Arzella Dye, and Clara May Patterson, special guest. Otyokwa Prepares For Annual Dance Last minute plans for the annual dance to be held February 24, in the Weber ballroom were complet ed at a meeting held by Otyokwa at the home of Anne Danvers. Tentative arrangements were made for a midnight party at the Ben Lomond Hotel following the dance. Guests will be members of the alumni and their partners, ' ' Charm Week.
