Show UDOT updates road conditions North Davis County SR-273 at CHERRY HILLS Widening and plant mix seal from Cherry Hills towards Kaysville. Scheduled to begin the first week of September. Two-way traffic will be maintained. Expected completion: October 1998. 1-84 US-89 INTERCHANGE in SOUTH WEBER Traffic signal installation at east and westbound off ramps. All ramps will remain open. This is a separate project, but adjacent to the rehabilitation resurfacing project on 1-84 from Uintah to Mountain Green. Expected Completion: Fall 1998. Weber County 1-84: UINTAH to MOUNTAIN GREEN Rehabilitation and resurfacing on approximately five miles of 1-84. Traffic is restricted to one lane each direction through the canyon for the duration of the project. Within a few weeks, the westbound lanes will be closed; traffic will be diverted to the eastbound lanes, separate! by a concrete barrier. Expect delays, especially near the interchange of 1-84 and US-89. Expected Completion: October 1998. 5600 SOUTH in ROY: 1900 WEST to 3700 WEST Railroad overpass and road construction. Beam placement is complete-structural work continues. Crews are planning to begin paving on Friday, Aug. 21. Crews will pave through the weekend, to get a large part of it complete. Crews will pave sections of the project at a time, as various sections become ready. 5600 South is closed between 2425 West and 3300 West - detours posted. Expected completion: Fall 1998. RIVERDALE ROAD in OGDEN: 700 WEST to 300 WEST Bridge replacement and widening. Two lanes open each direction, but narrow. No wide loads. Expected completion: July 2000. 1-15: OGDEN 1 2TH STREET to BOX ELDER WEBER COUNTY LINE Overlay and bridge repair - eight miles. Paving continues: crews work 15 hours per day (7 p.m. until 10 a.m. next day), six days per week: starting each Saturday evening and continuing until noon the following Friday. Speed limit reduced to 55 m.p.h. Expected completion: September 1998. Box Elder County 1-15: BRIGHAM CITY to WEBER COUNTY LINE Concrete grinding and smoothing - ten miles. Scheduled to begin the week of Aug. 24. Crews will begin in the southbound lanes. One lane will be closed at all times. Operations will cease for the winter - all lanes will be open.
