Jancek Pitches WSC To Near Perfect Game Ron Jancek missed pitching a no-hitter for the Wildcats last Saturday by one out as Weber Slate swept a twin bill from Idaho State, 3-2 and 3-0. For the Bengals, it was Bill Frazier who spoiled the great pitching of Jancek when he belted a single into centerfield late in the seventh inning of the nightcap. Wildcat Dennis Anderson hurled a four hit game against the Orange and Black in the Big Sky Conference opener for both schools earlier in the day to give Weber the victory. The two triumphs boosted the Wildcats' record, to 2-0 in the Big Sky and 9-5 for the entire season.
