Vice President, Joen England, took charge of the meeting in the absence of President Bob Harriot. This is the second time in succession that President Harriot has missed the meeting. According to a report from Dave Jacobs, plans for the Leadership Meeting were fast being realized. The coming Snow Carnival was discussed by Bill Hudson, president of the Freshman Class. The Carnival will be completely taken care By Malin Foster of by the Freshman class this year. Guy Larkins was sworn in as the new Sophomore Representative, taking the place of Paul Jensen, who is now at the AC. Larkins was chosen by a popular vote of the Sophomore Class last Thursday.Dr. Clarke reported he had received complaints that College life has been dead this quarter. If this is the general opinion, please check the calendar of events for the last week. Dr. Foulger then brought up the point that the drill team could be improved to promote more spirit to the games at half time. He said the squad wasn't up to those of other schools. An alert Guy Larkins then said, "What we need here at Weber is someone to hate." He maintained more rivalry between schools would naturally make more enthusiasm. More rivalry would also give WC more incentive to have good pep organizations. It was suggested that some research be done on finding ways to better the drill team or to make it easier in the future for the formation of peporganizations.
