Stars or Reed's Machine By Kent Weathers Q Ron, what is your favorite sport? A Women. That's a typical Wilkinson answer, and trying to interview the guy is like squeezing the last ounce of toothpaste out of the stubborn tube. Ron Wilkinson stands 6'3", weighs 180 pounds, and currently is the center for the Swenson five. Although he's short as centers go, "Wilk" has a habit of playing for winners. At Ogden High he played on the Region One championship team. Last year Weber with Ron aboard cruised to the Region IV championship, being the highest scoring junior college in the land. Let's hope its' a indication of things to come. "Big Wilk" was a glue-fingered end for the Wildcat football team, becoming an all-conference selection. Ron is also a tennis player and looms as an outstanding contender for the K.L.O. award watch. He doesn't have any definite hobbies being an easy man to please. Ron says he likes, "Girls, sleeping, eating, girls, sports, and girls" in that order. Don Wilkinson he's the smart one is the other half of the brother combination also playing on the basketball team. So if Ron doesn't come through for our boys, the cheerleaders can start the familiar yell: "If Wilkinson can't do it, Wilkinson can."
