Wildcats Dump Boise Twice Weber's high-flying Wildcats scored an impressive 58-51 triumph over the Boise college Broncos to clinch a two-night series on the Wildcat floor. The game was a rough encounter from start to finish as both sides fouled almost at will. With the score 47-45 in favor of the cats, Glen Ashby sank a beautiful side shot and Big Jerry Downs hit a pivot shot to put the game on ice for Coach Swenson's charges. Downs, big pivot man, led the Weber scorers with 18 tallies, followed by Sewell with 12 tallies, Darrel Tucker with 11 and Glen Ashby with 10. Dee Wallace did a bang-up job in holding Bronco ace Joe Dietrich to eight tallies. For the visitors it was Grande, sub-forward who led his team mates with an even dozen. D. H. Whittenburg, board chairman, said the funds for the stadium will come from the $250,000 alloted to the college in state build ing funds. Present Plans Present plans provide for a con struction to begin next spring in order to have a football field available next fall. The stadium will be constructed at the east end of the new Weber college campus on Harrison and 40th Street. This announcement came as good news to everyone connected with the Weber sports picture. With these new facilities there would be unlimited possibilities for increased attendance and for improvement in sports activities. Dismal Facilities Visiting schools have long remarked at the dismal facilities that are provided for Wildcat athletes and go on to boast of their own fine programs. With this new stadium, Weber will not have to play second fiddle to anyone. when Hubbinger, huge six-foot seven-inch Bronco center, fouled Sewell, who sank the charity toss to give the cats a 61-59 yead. Gaining possession, . the purple and white stalled out the final seconds to emerge victorious. Fireman Dee Wallace once again stood out with his brilliant floor game. Darrell Tucker continued scorching the nets with a total of 19 points. Stone with 12, and Sewell with 11 tallies also stood out for the Weberites. For the Broncos it was little Joe Dietrich pint-sized guard who made things more than uncomfortable for the cats with his uncanny eye for the basket. Dietrich poured 18 tallies through the hoop besides setting up many others. Summary: BOISE GTPP 6 5 3 15 Williamson, ( 2 2 0 4 Reed.
