Elder William Lunt and wife went to Toquerville Monday for their children child-ren and household effects. Upon their return they will again settle down to housekeeping. Mrs. Elizabeth McKnight and son Harry passed through Cedar Tuesday on their way home from the Dixie country. They report that the fruit about Leeds and vicinity is not nearly so badly damaged as had been thought. From present indications the Pixie people will have as much fruit as they can care for. We are glad to hear it. Ed. Hazelgrove returned from the south Sunday evening- and reported a very rough trip. Mr. Hazelgrove feels very kindly towards the Pixie people, and was very hospitably received by the business men, but has little love for the roads, and says the climate is altogether too tropical even at this season of the year for his liking. Monday Mon-day evening he resumed his join ncy home, aftercompletin'his rounds here. |
