Show CITY ( Ol'NdL. Special session held March 20, 1S&9. Present Mayor Brown, Councilors Woodbury, Jarvis, Foster, Cottam and Miles. ' The Mayor stated that the session was called for the purpose of taking into in-to consideration the bringing 0f the Cottonwood water into the city, and also for distribution thereof. It was resolved and passed that the City Recorder be instructed to notify all persons holding Cottonwood water scrip or stock to file with him at his olllco on or before March 31, 1890, a statement showing the amount of such scrip or stock held by them and where their pro rata of the water is to be used during the present season, specifying the lot or lots with block and plat of the St. George city survey. $i.f0 was appropriated for Warrant book. 2.00 was appropriated for making deed to J. Y. Spencer. The bill of Charles R. Worthen, ?.n0.()'), for ringing Curfew bell was allowed. al-lowed. Ordered, that for the present year the Cottonwood water be brought into the city by the West ditch. The Watermaster was instructed to apply sul'icienl of the water tax on the St. George and Cottonwood canal to clean the canal. Council adjourned. |
