at dark there was one of the largest floods in it that we have had for years they had to stay out and build fires to keep from freezing as no one dared to cross the river to get them until morning rachel and delia della demill gave a house party saturday evening at which most of the young people were present after lunch was ed and the party was out the oung folks rung the old year out and the new year in newel and delia della dellill ina de mill velma langston david hirschi hirscht and ora terry are home for the holl days from st george where they are attending the D N C arthur crawford jr of enter prise who just returned from a mis sion to england was with us at sac meeting today and gave us a splendid sermon the rockville relief society gave a dance and sold cake candy popcorn and punch springdale and virgin joined with us and it was a bumming humming success william langston jr was home tor for holidays from st george where he Is attending the D N C he left today for school again the young people of rockville at tended a dance at grafton wednes day night and report having a good time mr and mrs herald henderson gave a house party tuesday night and a good time was had A house party was given at the home of mrs henry hirschi hirschl and all present enjoyed it the M I 1 asins gave a splendid program sunday evening which was enjoyed by all the Y li M I 1 A gave a dance thursday night they sold daffler ent things in the line of wearing material one quilt and refreshments they had a very nice tima time most of the people from here who are working at the alp mine came
