Show CHURCH SETS APRIL DATES FOR CONFERENCE The one hundred and second annual conference of the L. D. S. church will be held Friday to Sunday, inclusive. April S, D and 10, announced President Heber J. Grant and Anthony W. Ivins. fint counselor of the first pre-!-dency, hut week. This will be the second time since 1S40, that April 6, the anniversary an-niversary of the founding of the church., has not been included in the spring conference. The other exception was in 19 ID, when, because of the epidemic of influenza, a special conference was convened in June. In 1S40 the custom of holding the regular regu-lar conference was permanently inaugurated. This year, April 6 falls on Wednesday and. in order to include in-clude Saturday and Sunday, a five-day conference would be necessary. The lirst general conference was held in June. 1S30, some two months after organization of the church, and the second in September. 1S30. X'o general conference was then held for several years, but meetings were held every three months unt'i headquarters were established as Xanvoo. III. In April. 1S33.
