Approximately 61 per cent of the taxes for 1932 were collected; of the other 39 per cent it is likely "that 25 per cent will ultimately come back to the county in the shape of Tax Sale Redemptions; but the other 14 per cent may be a loss. For the year 1931, 25 per cent of all the taxes were reported as Tax Sales and Subsequent Taxes. Only a small am'ount of this has so far been redeemed. For the years 1929 and 1930 there were large delinquencies, and a large part of it is still unredeemed. No definite defi-nite figures can be given as. to what amounts will ultimately be realized from these delinquent taxes; but these tax delinquencies account in great measure for the deficits .in the various funds of the county. i 1 ' STATEMENT OF COUNTY BOXDS OUTSTANDING Washington County has outstanding 56 bonds of $1,000.00 each, numbered from 1 to 56, dated March 1st, 1922, and bearing interest at the rate of 5Vs per cent per annum, payable semi-annually on the " first day of March and September of each year. Bonds were issued March 1st, 1922, to pay 26 per cent of F. A. P. construction, and money was so applied. Bonds mature as follows: Numibers 1 to 5 inclusive, March 1, 1933 Numbers 6 to 10 inclusive, March 1, 1934. Numibers 11 to 15 inclusive, March 1, 1935. Numibers 16 to 20 inclusive, March 1, 1936. Numbers 21 to 25 inclusive, March 1, 1937. Numbers 26 to 30 inclusive, March 1, 1938. Numibers 31 to 35 inclusive, March 1, 1939. Numbers 36 to 40 inclusive, M,arch 1, 1940.
