On the 4th inst., Joseph, the four- year-old son of William R. and Cornelia Jraw ford, died of dropsy, after an illness ill-ness of three weeks. Soon after the little fellow was taken ill he divided his toys among- his brothers and sisters, insisting that he would never use them again. The parents feel his loss.sevorely, out acknowledge the will of an all-wise God, On the 10th hist., Bro. Thomas Fames and wife, of Rockville, started for Virgin City. They had gone but a short distance wheu sister Fames was thrown from the wagon, breaking one of her ribs fract urin g one of her shoulder blades, and nearly ending her days. Their ion, Joseph, was dispatched, over the Shonesburg trail, to Long; Valley for her daughter, who was working there, but Joseph lost his way and did not arrive home until 12 o'clock last night.
