Show MARRIAGES James A. Mortensen of Manassa, Colo., and Miss Verna Cox, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frark L. Cox Of this city, were married today In the temple. tem-ple. The bride is a graduate of the Dixie College, taught school in New Harmony Har-mony and St. George, and has been cn a mission to the eastern states. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Amnion Am-nion E. Mortensen of Manassa, Colo., and Is a highly respected young man of that community. He also has spent two years In the eastern states mission. mis-sion. They will leave here Saturday lor a honeymoon in Mesa Verde national park, after which they will make their home in Manassa, Colo. Ren Earlin Tobler and Miss Anna Leavitt were married Friday, September Septem-ber 27, in the St. George temple. The bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. John A. Tobler and the bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alma Leavitt Leav-itt of Bunkerville. The young couple will spend the winter attending Dixie College as both won scholarships while attending the Virgin valley high school last term. Joseph A. Haslam of Cedar City and Miss Ethlyn Berry of Kanarra were married in the St. George temple on Wednesday, October 2. |
